Ben-Porath Fund

The Ben-Porath Fund was established by the donations of The Falk Institute, The Samuel Rothberg Fund and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in memory of  Professor Yoram Ben-Porath, who served as Rector and later as President of the Hebrew University until his tragic death in October 1992.

The activities of the Ben-Porath Fund reflect his fields of interest : Education, Labor Force Participation and the Welfare System, Health, Immigration. Political Economy.

The activities include an annual Lecture in memory of Yoram, workshops and conferences on topics of interest to the Fund. Past activities include:
